'A Date to Give' UK Muslims spread Prophetic message of Peace and Love

(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 08, 2015 ) "Spreading peace and feeding people" are the foundational teachings of the prophet of Islam, Muhammad, peace be upon him and this was clearly in evidence on a glorious sunny day in Birmingham city centre.

Dates which Muslims use to break their fasts were given out in specially made gift boxes along with the message "Shall I tell you an action that is better than Prayer, Fasting and Charity? It is keeping peace and good relations between people, as quarrels and bad feelings destroy mankind".

Once again facing the challenges of extremists hijacking the Muslim faith with the barbarous cold blooded murder of innocent lives this week, the team spokesperson clearly felt the need of such initiatives is paramount in current times.

She continued by saying " Islam teaches us to spread peace and to keep good relations with everyone, all we are doing today is trying to live that message in the streets of Birmingham".

The initiative was launched as part of a much wider campaign of 'one to one' public engagement and portrayal of the true message of Islam. Hazrat Sultan Bahu Trust continue to lead and support such initiatives and recognise the need for such efforts both nationally and internationally.

A inaugural conference on such activities was recently held and a date to give was the first of many initiatives which will come to fruition over the coming months.

Against all the odds with the perceived extremists hijacking of the religion of Islam, the team remain highly motivated to continue to spread the true Prophetic teaching of peace and love.

ENDS
As-Siraat, part of Hazrat Sultan Bahu Trust is a Birmingham based organisation which is a three-dimensional out-reach project. The organisation aims to educate, revive and inspire people. This is achieved through educational seminars, publications and spiritual retreats to promote the true message of Islam by making hearts blossom.

Helen Hensel's £1Million Charity Climb - Introduction Video

Helen's Pictures from the Climb
(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 15, 2015 ) Manchester, UK -- Helen Hensel, a mother from New Mills, recently took part as one of 260 participants in the Deloitte Charity Challenge for charity to benefit Alzheimer's Society, Prostate Cancer UK, and Mind. Helen's challenge was to climb the highest mountain in mainland Spain (Mulhacén, in the Sierra Nevada)

Before the trip last month, Helen was quoted as saying : "I am incredibly excited to be taking part in such an amazing challenge, being motivated to get fit and conquer mainland Spain's highest mountain whilst raising money for three worthwhile charities at the same time. All three charities mean a lot to me for personal reasons and knowing that I can help them has been a great motivating force in my training plan."

Mulhacén, in the Sierra Nevada is one of the more difficult climbing challenges in the world. It rises to 3478.6 meters (11,413 feet) and it is the highest peak in Europe outside the Alps and the Caucasus Mountains.

The other three challenges are scaling Kilimanjaro in Africa, climbing Cotopaxi, Ecuador, and trekking up Mount Kinabalu in Borneo. That's four different climbing challenges in four different continents.

"The last time I exercised properly was four years ago so this challenge has inspired me to start running, swimming and hiking again," admits Helen. "Having a local mountain--Kinder Scout--at the end of my road has been very helpful to get some practice hikes in before my Spanish mountain challenge!"
The other climbs are challenging as well. Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia and the Malay Archipelago. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet). Cotopaxi is a volcano that's 5,897 meters (19,347 feet) high, and it has erupted more than 50 times in the last 300 years.

Helen's husband, local photographer Tim Hensel, is doing his part as well with his photography skills. Tim Hensel Photography is running a special offer in support of Helen's fundraising activities.
Customers have been offered a family photo shoot with the addition of two 8×6 prints for only £20. That entire fee will be donated to the three charities. Any additional order for pictures from the shoot will also add another 20% of the fees for the charities as well.

Helens target is to raise £1,000.00 in donations. Potential donors can just visit the fundraising web page of Helen to send in their donations. The ultimate goal is to help raise £1 million for charity.
"I have never done anything like this before but fortunately trying to raise money for the three charities--Alzheimer's Society, Mind, and Prostate Cancer UK - is a huge motivating force," confesses Helen. "The monies raised will help people in so many ways who are supported by these charities, which are especially deserving as they are often forgotten compared to other bigger charities."

(EMAILWIRE.COM, August 24, 2015 ) Johannesburg -- A car hiring Services Company based in Johannesburg and Cape Town has received great reviews. The information officer, of SMH car, hire comments. "A survey that we carried out has revealed that people appreciate the services we offer.

Our survey required people who hired our vehicles for short term or long term periods. Special occasions, weddings, auto holiday, or a business contract car hire to fill out a form and comment on the service we provide and what we should improve on."

He continues.''Many individuals were pleased by our fleet. Our luxury 4×4 vehicle rental in Cape Town was one the most popular choice of cars. Both branches of SMH car hire conducted the survey.

A majority of our first-time clients were pleased with their experiences and they confirmed that they would always come back and rent our vehicles. Some added that they would not mind recommending us more clients."

Mathew Simmer wrote in his comments section, "It was a pleasure dealing with the SMH Car Hire team. I chose to deal with SMH because of their website. It's informative, easy to use and their contact details were on every page.

They also have a blog section on their site. All these factors appealed to me, I then decided to make a call and I got the best customer care service. When I went to pick up the car I wanted to rent in Johannesburg, it looked brand new.

The vehicle had no dents, it was clean when I drove it I felt as if the vehicle was mine. As an avid traveller, I have had the opportunity to travel around the world.

In comparison to other countries, my car renting experience in South Africa has been one of the greatest. I visited Cape Town, I got in touch with the SMH Car Hire branch based and to my amazement I got treated the same way as I was in Joburg."

Mercy Lucy noted, "There were no additional fees such as insurance, drop off and petrol charges. Other car rental service providers that I have dealt with were not transparent and upfront. SMH Car Hire did not give me estimates, but their prices were on the money. There were accurate."

The public relations officer of SMH Car Hire concluded, "The attention that we provide to customer care services. Flexible long-term and short-term contract and a simple, uncomplicated process for hiring and returning cars.

A 24-hour guaranteed roadside assistance and fast effective pick-up and delivery services is what makes us the obvious choice for business, holiday or private contract car hire." Two Tailz Rescue has a very special and challenging mission - helping dogs living on the street or in high-kill shelters where animals are euthanized. This nonprofit from Georgia focuses on animals which are hard to rescue and have not been saved by other rescue groups. One of the dog categories that Two Tailz Rescue is frequently helping is "bully breeds" or pit bulls. In spite of their not-so-good reputation, these animals are in fact very intelligent and loyal and their potential aggressiveness is caused by unfavorable situations created by humans.

The dog rescue organization and its dedicated vounteers are already enjoying positive results due to the optimized donation form provided by Fundlio and are extremely happy with this collaboration: "Fundlio has offered our small 501c3 non-profit a tremendous value - there is simply not another non-profit platform that provides so much while asking so little. Even more importantly than this, Fundlio has truly partnered with us to help drive successful fundraising. They have gone above and beyond in every way to support our online fundraising efforts."

Two Tailz Rescue has already collected generous online donations almost every day since they implemented their new online donation page and is confident about meeting and even surpassing their planned financial needs this year.

(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 10, 2015 ) West Palm Beach, Florida -- August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day which leads into National Recovery Month, September. The Bradenton Herald reports that hundreds of people gathered in Manatee County to march in honor of loved ones lost to overdoses. The event was organized by No Longer Silent, a group dedicated to giving a voice to overdose victims and their families. West Palm Beach Drug Rehab commends the bravery and strength of those who joined the fight to raise awareness and educate the public concerning the dangers of substance abuse and overdose.

Several families gathered with signs commemorating their lost loved ones, including Michelle Lyle, who serves as the treasurer for No Longer Silent. "I'm overwhelmed-- absolutely overwhelmed, This is so much more than we expected."

Though her addicted twin daughters are currently jailed and still living, many of the attendants mourn their loved ones with tributes. One anonymous tribute read "I lost my son Travis last Tuesday." Others spoke of undying love and grief. All those in attendance shared a common goal of raising awareness concerning the widespread addiction epidemic and the ever-present dangers of overdose.

A representative of West Palm Beach Drug Rehab comments,
"As a facility drug and alcohol rehabilitation in West Palm Beach, we have first hand experience with the horrific consequences of substance abuse and overdose. These brave families have turned their grief into a weapon against the silently spreading epidemic of drug abuse and addiction that is slowly encompassing the country. Because of organizations like No Longer Silent, people are learning about the devastating effects of substance abuse disorders not only on the sufferer but those around them as well. It is important that organizations such as No Longer Silent continue their work in breaking through the stigmas associated with addiction. People have to understand that suffering from an addiction does not strip people of their humanity. Those suffering from a substance abuse disorder are still sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, husbands, and wives. By reinforcing the humanity of addicts, we can learn to view the disorder as the disease it is and begin ensure many more people receive the treatment they need to avoid the tragedy these families have suffered through."

(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 21, 2015 ) Miami, Florida -- SigEp FIU Alumni has partnered with Mark Marandino, CFP, and the Thomas B. Jelke Foundation to host the inaugural Red Door Classic charity golf tournament on October 23rd 2015 at Crandon golf course in Key Biscayne. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to three charities that have helped mold lives throughout South Florida.

The first charity is FIU's First Generation Scholarship. Statistics from Georgetown University Center and the U.S. Department of Education show that 35% of first generation college attendees must work full-time just to go to school which leads to 28.3% of those dropping out. The proceeds going to this scholarship will be matched dollar for dollar by Florida International University.

The second charity is the Buoniconti Fund. Established in 1992 to find the cure for paralysis after the son of Nick Buoniconti (Marc) sustained spinal cord injury during a college football game. All proceeds allocated to this charity will be dedicated to The Miami Project to cure paralysis.

The third charity is also an FIU focused scholarship called the SigEp Florida Nu Undergrad Scholarship Fund, a need-based scholarship fund to help pay for books and tuition for FIU students who are a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

When interviewed, the tournament coordinator Pete Cabrera was more than willing to share the philosophy behind the event. "Our fraternity prides itself on giving back to our host institution because FIU provided us with an excellent education. We also want to support a local charity in the community, and the Buoniconti Fund is one that our undergraduate chapter has supported for the past five years. That was a huge motivating factor behind doing this charity event. Not just a way to get our FIU brothers together but it was a way to give back to the community, to those that need a hand up, as well as our university."

While spectators are always welcome, those that like to golf and to give can sign up as single players or foursomes at www.RedDoorClassic.com. Registration and lunch is at 11:30 AM sharp with a 1 PM shotgun start.

About Red Door Classic:
The Thomas B. Jelke Foundation along with the Alumni of the FL Nu Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon are hosting this event to raise funds and awareness for these great causes. The foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization, and 100% of all proceeds raised by the Thomas B Jelke Foundation at this event will fund the following: First Generation Scholarships at FIU, The Buonicanti Fund's efforts to raise awareness and funds for Spinal Cord Injury research through the Miami Project, and Scholarships for members of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at FIU.

(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 30, 2015 ) Johannesburg -- The information officer of Fitzanne Estates recently explored a question that majority of South Africans come to find themselves having to ponder on. Should I buy or rent this property?

The Fitzanne information officer comments, "It might seem like an obvious answer or common sense scenario to many intellectual individuals. However to some the idea of paying off debt and renting a property that might one day become private property is appealing.

Some banks have stringent criteria as well as deposits necessities thus making it difficult for new entries into the market. While if you know that you have bad debt records it's an obvious case that this option of renting to buy for you is not available."

The information officer of Fitzanne Estates also shared crucial advice with regards to buying to let. He comments, "When it comes to buying to let you must be directly involved in everything. Your approach must be hands on. For instance when you go into a rent to buy agreement and you decide to place a tenant in that specific property.

You must look at the credit ratings of prospect tenants first. Building a relation with your tenant will be necessary. When it comes to investing it's vital to invest in places where you feel comfortable. It's obvious that there is a big difference between Hillbrow and Bryston. It also important to be realistic and to have goals set.

Buying to let is not a short term but a long term investment that you must be fully prepared to be in. It can last from four to six years. You must be patient and focused in order to achieve your objectives."

He added, "You must also make sure that all the costs that include maintaining, property rates, levy and other costs are covered by the rent. Once you are sure of the rent price consider the year to year increments that are fair so as to keep a tenant, rather than having to always look for tenants who might end up giving you more problems."

Becoming the owner of a property that you are renting out is almost similar to a business, as all the costs that are involved are prone to tax. Keep all records in correct order such as costs of, security, maintenance and repairs.

Interest on mortgage bond, council taxes, rates. Agent's fees for property management services and finding you a tenant. He noted, "Consider getting apartments that are furnished because there are a good investment especially if you are targeting occupants that stay for a short while.

However letting a fully furnished apartment does have its own risks and it can be time-consuming as it will be a requirement to always conduct inspections so as to make sure that a tenant who tends to destroy any of the property pays for it. If you feel as if you cannot manage to consider using a letting agent. Many agencies charge fees to conduct interviews, credit checks, advertise and select the best tenants.

The property management company names that offer the best services are easy to select .Charges vary but a majority are normally 7 to 8, 5 % the total value of the lease for property management. For a piece of mind a letting management company is the best available option. For more information visit http://www.fitzanne.co.za/

(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 19, 2015 ) Chicago, Ill -- Mr. White announced the purchase and reformatting of the site with plans of reaching a much wider audience and a very different form of user interaction.

When asked about the format Martin stated "Think a cross between Wikipedia and YouTube.
These two sites are awesome but they're still one trick ponies.

SpiritualGlasses.me will have the wiki style writing coupled with the best videos we could find on the subjects discussed."

Mr. White also says that " Unlike most sites where people just leave comments, we intend on interacting by accepting video submissions on all kinds of religion. This isn't just another Christians only site, it's designed so that no matter what your religion is you can come on in and experience it."

Mr. White also went on to say, "I was asked by a user if we would allow the discussion of a totally new religion. I must admit I was taken back, if you think about it who are we to say that no one will ever have another religious experience like say the Mormons when they came about in the early 1800s. So the answer is yes we will cover new religion although I don't want to say all religion, at least not just yet."

Martin then went on to add, "It's a big deal when you provide a place to discuss the topic of worship or faith, things can and do occasionally get heated. So over time this site we are expanding out to be about all kinds or types of religion, will probably encompass any one you or I could think of."

When asked if SpiritualGlasses would include social properties to add to the party Martin replied, "We will definitely be adding a Facebook group and a YouTube channel. I'm not 100% certain which will be created and launched first but you will certainly know as that will be cause for another news release to our industry.

Our sole mission is to spread the word about religion or spirituality itself because we believe people are better off with any faith vs. no faith. Yes we discuss Atheism but to those people that is their faith so you cannot discount it just because you don't prescribe to it."

To talk about or just plain read or watch a video on all types of religion please visit: SpiritualGlasses.me any time you feel the urge. If you like you can contact the owner, Mr. Martin White, to inquire about submitting a video to share on the site as well.

"What's the Deal with Caregiving?"

Book Involving Pulitzer Prize Nominated Story Releases in Time for National Caregiving Month

(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 23, 2015 ) Princeton, NJ -- The story of Chris MacLellan and his partner, Richard Schiffer was chronicled in a 2015 Pulitzer Prize nominated story about their journey of caregiving. The story told of the challenges that LGBT partners have in dealing with the medical and legal system, but it also told of the love and joy that Richard's last years had on their relationship. Out of this experience, Chris has written a powerful and compelling book that informs caregivers about how to deal with the challenges that they will encounter, regardless of sexual orientation, family situation or age. This book is People Tested Publications' latest book in their "What's the Deal With..?" ® book series, and it's entitled "What's the Deal with Caregiving?"

Jack Tatar, Publisher of People Tested Publications says, "This is a book that I was excited to publish because I've worked with Chris during his time with Richard and I've seen the love that they had for each other and I've also seen how both of them felt that the experience they had during this time could be used to help others. The result is a book that I'm so proud to publish and I know that it will help so many of the millions of people who are facing caregiving responsibilities today. Regardless of the situation or illness, Chris's book will help anyone dealing with caregiving to understand the needs to effectively conduct these responsibilities and how to care for themselves, which may be the most important thing to consider."

The publication of the book coincides with the recognition of November as National Caregiver's Month. This is an important event as there are over 90 million family caregivers in the US today and there's a need to share information and resources with these caregivers to help them on their journey. It's clear that this new book from Chris MacLellan will be an important resource that belongs in the hands of all caregivers.

Chris MacLellan, is affectionately known as "The Bow Tie Guy" in many caregiving circles. Chris has over 10 years of personal caregiving experience and is an ardent advocate for caregivers and their caree's, through his Caregiving blog, The Purple Jacket and his weekly radio show, 'Healing Ties.' With an educational background in Social Work and Theology, Chris is currently an MA candidate in Leadership and Communication at Gonzaga University in Spokane WA., and the Caregiver advocate for Emerald Elite Home Health Care in Wilton Manors, FL. Chris and his deceased partner Bernard Richard Schiffer's caregiving story, "In Sickness and In Health: A Couple's Final Journey" was published by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in April 2014, has been seen world-wide by over 400,000+ people and nominated for a Pulitzer Prize by the Sun-Sentinel in 2015 while winning numerous local, national and international awards. Chris presents regularly on a variety of topics on Healthy Aging, Caregiving, Life After Caregiving and LGBT Seniors and is currently embarking on his new project, the Whole Care Network.

SMA Shares the History of the Famous Martial Arts Centre

$

(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 05, 2015 ) Johannesburg -- The information officer Of SMA recently shared the history of the martial arts centre and its founder. He comments, "Shuaimeng Liu was born in Liao Cheng City, Shandong Province, China - not too far south from the capital city of Beijing.

At the tender age of nine years old, his passion for martial arts and his unwavering determination brought him 12 265 kilometres away from his home to the world-renowned Shaolin Buddhist Monastery, located in the South Eastern province of Hunan.

This would set him up for much success later on, as he learned fundamental life lessons, values and skills, which would allow him to develop into the person he is today. For many, just leaving home at that age would be a traumatic experience. Leaving home and travelling that far away from everything familiar and everything comfortable at such a young age may have been exactly what his spirit needed!"

He added, "He learned about life, martial arts and a spiritual world, which few have the opportunity to experience. This is where Shuaimeng developed his unique place in the universe, beginning to hone his natural talent into a masterful set of skills, discipline and ability.

This was where he began to develop his well-rounded nature, love and respect for life and his ability to perform Martial Arts at such an incredible level. See where Shuaimeng ended up next and the fascinating life he continued to lead."

He noted, "The definition of success is different for many people. For Shuaimeng, a structural base of sixteen years of discipline, dedication and devotion enabled him to graduate from the Temple as a 34th generation Buddhist monk under the Abbot Shi Yong Xin. Shuaimeng's monk name is Shi Yan Meng.

He became an advanced martial arts master of Shaolin Wu Shu, under the personal instruction of Master Liang Yiquan, one of the ten most distinguished martial arts instructors in China today.

Having developed the skills he teaches today, right at the source of Martial Arts and Buddhism, he is certainly a force to be reckoned with as a teacher, contender, and as a human being. Developing the skills he now teaches at the source of their origins means Shuaimeng was destined for success in his chosen life path. Next time, we'll tell you all about exactly where it leads him."

Historical records state that he acquired his 5th Grade in Chinese Martial Arts grading, and has qualified as a Martial Arts Coach at national level. As a Shaolin master and martial arts expert, Shuaimeng Liu actively participated in, and won, numerous championships across various national competition levels. From 1995 to 1998, he had won the Chinese Golden Awards and championships at numerous Wu Shu competitions at national, provincial and city levels.

These competition wins earned him a lot of respect amongst his peers and competitors alike, and opened doors for him and his teaching /coaching career. From 1998 to 2003, he was appointed as manager/coach, at provincial and national competitions in China. It seems to be a pattern throughout Shuaimeng's life that he constantly strives for personal development. Next time Shuaimeng goes from strength to strength earning the opportunity of a prestigious teaching position.

The information officer of SMA noted, "His team won group championships twice, acquiring 33 medals in total. In 1997, Liu, along with the Principle of the Shaolin Epo Martial Arts institute.

Mr. Liang Shaocong, were granted the highly prestigious invitation to teach Shaolin-style Wu Shu at Beijing University and Beijing Sports University. It could be said that this is where Shuaimeng honed is ability to teach students and impart the valuable knowledge and skills he had gained over his many years as a student. Clearly Shuaimeng has the knack for coaching and teaching.

His story is evidence of this, and the number of styles of Martial Arts he is capable of will be made ever more clear next time." He explained that Shuaimeng arrival in South Africa was the perfect opportunity to open an authentic Chinese Martial Arts school in Johannesburg. This idea sprang from the lack of such facilities and his passion for the physical and spiritual teachings of Martial Arts.

He felt a great need to spread these teachings to as many people as possible. He decided to offer a variety of classes based upon the traditional teachings he was inculcated with by the Grand Masters of the Shaolin Temple. His insight was correct as his business flourished after starting from scratch though.

He noted, "With no resources and only one student, Shuaimeng Liu established his very first martial arts school, and thus, the Shuaimeng Liu Martial Arts Centre was born. Seven years later and still going strong.

Among other shaolin kung fu training & martial art schools the SMA Centre is the best, it now boasts several coaches, a variety of both traditional and MMA classes, and over 100 students. In his spare time, Shuaimeng Liu enjoys learning Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu as well as Western boxing techniques, practicing the art of calligraphy, and spending quality time with his family." For more information visit http://smacentre.co.za/

About S M A Centre:
At the SMA Centre, students start off by learning the foundational principles of martial arts. Learning the basic techniques, stances and exercises are an essential part of one's training, without which students cannot progress. Foundational learning starts with the simplest and most fundamental movements, upon which all others are based. Students start learning simple movements, such as stances, kicks, punches and conditioning exercises, and are made to perform these movements repeatedly until they become second-nature.
